Industrial Fiber Optic Cables

Berkshire Photonics offers a number of different industrial fiber optic cable types to accommodate a diverse array of applications. Generally, a cable consists of a core of one or more individually coated fibers and a resin buffer covered with several layers of protective sheathing. This is then jacketed in one of a variety of different materials (depending upon the specific application) for added protection. Cables can be fit with any of the connectors Berkshire Photonics carries. As with all fiber optic products, selecting the appropriate cable for an application is essential to achieving the best results.
